New sweet home

  • New look, new server, new everything! Hooray. I am going to change more things over time.

  • Now I need to find out two things: How to get a redirect on the old pages and how to keep feeding my updates to the recent updates lists.

  • Excitement, excitement.

  • Moving this site over from editthispage.com was relatively easy. Two bugs happened: My pictures have the wrong URL sometimes and Umlauts got mangled up. I hope this has no long term effects on this site.

  • Ah, yes and one more thing: The passwords were omitted from the farsideofmymind.root file which means that all my subscribers have to change their passwords. I understand that this is a security issue, but could that be handled any other way?

  • In other news there is speculation that ARM share sales played a major part in Apple´s recent earnings and may do so again for the past quarter. This caught my attention, as I wonder how ARM can still be alive. A lesson to be learned: obviously it has survived as a maker of microprocessors in the shark pit that is dominated by the likes of Intel, AMD and Motorola.
