Preparation
- A new book review: Terry Pratchett - Thief of time. You´ll love it.

- Are exciting things going to happen? I want them to, so I guess I have to start making them happen.
I posted this message to the Rules For Revolutionaries List:
Fellow Revolutionaries,I´ve embarked on a great personal adventure that is to reinvent myself and my business to finally provide what I was dreaming for when I was 20 and set off to become an entrepreneur.
I am only starting, so my ideas are few and far between. I´ve so far stumbled across The E-Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber and I´d like to hear opinions about this sort of approach to business and possible alternatives.
In The E-Myth Revisited, Michael Garber claims that perfect order, an almost totalitarian hierarchy and written operating instructions and checklists provide a business system that works. I don´t doubt that it does, I am simply looking for alternatives and other points of view. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated. Is there anyone out there that disputes Mr. Gerbers methods?
I am planning on setting up a weblog to document what I learn and to let people participate in the process of building a working franchisable business. Is that a good idea? Would you be interested in it? Do I have the chance of getting some big shots to be interested as well?

I am curious what will happen.
