Who is to blame?

Who is to blame?

  • Propaganda is a strange thing. From now on, you can´t believe anything you read. Everything is biased. Proof? The Sueddeutsche writes that Bin Laden has once cooperated with the CIA on driving the Russians out of Afghanistan. During that area, he was educated by the CIA in how to perform terrorist acts. Later, his former allies turned their backs on him, something which he hasn´t forgotten since. CNN on the other hand claims, that Bin Laden´s grudge stems from the fact that the US forces stayed in Saudi Arabia after the war on Iraq was over and calls this an "occupation" of his homeland. Which one of the stories is the most likely? They may even be both true, but either one lefts out important details from the other one that totally turn the argument on it´s head.

  • It is so frustrating not to know what is true. If we stick to the facts, some idiots caused thousands of deaths for reasons unknown or at least incomprehensible. Those idiots are dead. Everything else is speculation based on very vague facts.

    I hate this.

  • Wow, the terrorists are amongst us. At least three of the pigs where living in Hamburg prior to this unhuman act. The german intelligence service is estimating a large number of "sleepers" living in Germany. What do we do now?

  • Typical of western democracies, the finger pointing has begun. Was it the CIA´s fault or the military´s or is the commercial aviation to blame for the insufficient security at US airports? The answer is: None of them. Be realistic: The terrorists and ONLY the terrorists are to blame.

But opportunists see their chance to increase their budgets or remove unwanted competition in their jobs. Almost as despicable as the act of terror itself.

  • I wonder why nobody picked up the lead on the historic significance of the date I posted yesterday. Maybe it is pointing in an unwanted direction?

Admittedly, it is not very thoroughly researched.
