(Update: I moved my earlier post to Using MS Office for Mails)
- Now Bush has proven that he is not suitable to be US president. What a depressingly stupid speech. Focusing on threats and violence. Directing the energy away from those who would so dearly need it. Face it, life is not like a movie. The bad guys are always one step ahead.
- Why is war such an attractive scenario for a US president? Answer from Tom Clancy´s book: Because he only has real power in times of real crisis. Power as this is a dangerous thing.
- Bush uses a dangerous instrument used by school yard bullies all over the world in defining the enemy: "Either you are with us or you are the enemy." So much for the freedom to disagree with him.
Incidently, a few lines before that, he declares that the problem with the terrorists is that they want to impose their views on everyone by force.
- All in all, his plan sounds like a terrorist campaign against the terrorists. Didn´t anyone point that out to him?
- In the end, he asks for god´s blessing of America. God should bless America with insight, wisdom and peace.
