Wake up call

Wake up call

  • Nobody is going to win this war. Some people are going to loose more and some less.

  • News reports indicate that a lot of companies take advantage of the situation to lay off people. Is the economy really that weak that loosing a couple of days business is driving them into recession? I don´t think so. They are trying to maximise profits so that they do not have to give their part for repairing the damage. The people that have to work for their money loose first. People who let their money work for them loose less.

  • Dave asks what he can do to help his country win. A noble sentiment. Since nobody is going to win, the best you can do for your country is keep calm and reasonable. A crusade against terror is not going to work just as no other crusade did ever work.

Dave also thinks there are loose nukes in the hands of extremists threatening US cities. If that were true, they would already have been used. And dropping nukes on Bagdad first would also not prevent their use.
