The history of PR desasters

Well, Apple fell in once again. The much promoted Movie Trailers now require a registered copy of QuickTime Pro to view in the highest resolution. This, of course, is a necessary move. Although Internet is almost free for consumers, someone has to pay for the infrastructure and that is the providers of high bandwidth content. Streaming media is hugely expensive, even if you are talking Terrabytes. However, it is always a painful move to change a service from free to paid.
Apple, of course, picked the worst possible moment to do that. The StarWars trailer is making sure that the move gets the highest possible exposure. Not good. - Discuss
