What can I say? The "Update" of my harddrive turns out to be a nightmare. Mac OS X is nice, but the main problem is that you can not maintain it. If you have to move it, update or downgrade, you can kiss most of your settings good bye.

At least the Mail still works, albeit I can´t send anything for the time being.

Ah well, on with reinstalling. I must have lost a considerable amount of data because it is hidden somewhere that you won´t find it. - Discuss

I got a 30 Gig drive for my PowerBook. Downside is reinstalling ALL the stuff I got on my 10 Gig. I am curious about how restoring my prefs for Mac OS X goes. Also I will be cut of outgoing mail for some time until I recompiled the Postfix server... Phew. At least I can take time to write something in my Weblog. - Discuss
