26 | 27 | Unfortunately, at this stage, blogging the conference came to an end due to the conference being blogged to bits elsewhere...
It is really cool to have wireless access. And jet lag sucks. Anyways - the report:
I went to Sal Soghoian's AppleScript session in the morning. Quite interessting, very good session. Beginner level stuff but just taxing enough to keep me interested.
Before that session, I had a couple of iChat A/V sessions with friends and family. The good thing about the A/V stuff is that you get to show people what you are talking about. A sort of guided tour.
I also got signed up for writing a conference report for MacUP, which I am looking forward to. Getting paid for it, too. The tricky part will be to get a picture for the article.
The afternoon session was not what I expected from the session description. I had a couple of things to sort out, however, and once again the WLAN came in handy.
Birds of Feather session in the evening was interesting, albeit not entirely my sort of business. People talking about various challenges in a Higher Education Lab environment.
Tomorrow, keynote by Tim O'Reilly who is at this very moment standing on the other side of my table talking with some guy about his speech.
I am now sitting in the hotel bar, drinking a Guiness and getting some bar food, waiting for my girlfriend to get online in iChat.
